1. Who We Are
The data controller is Sport group d.o.o., operating as RentRacket, registered in Slovenia (VAT ID: SI72133449). Contact: hello@rentracket.com.
We are committed to protecting personal data and complying fully with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Slovenian data protection law.
2. What Data We Collect
Club operators: name, email address, payment information (processed and stored by Stripe β we do not store full card details), club name, club address, and usage data relating to your account activity.
End users (players): email address, name, and booking history when a player creates an account or makes a booking through a club's RentRacket page.
Website visitors: anonymised analytics data (page views, referral source, device type) via privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use Google Analytics.
Beta sign-ups: email address and locale. We also share this data with Klaviyo (our email service provider) to send welcome and promotional emails.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Contract performance: processing necessary to provide the RentRacket service to you as a subscriber.
Legitimate interests: sending product updates and service communications to existing customers.
Consent: sending marketing emails to beta sign-ups and newsletter subscribers. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
Legal obligation: retaining financial transaction records as required by Slovenian accounting law.
4. How We Use Your Data
To provide and improve the RentRacket platform. To process payments and send transaction receipts. To send service notifications (booking confirmations, return reminders). To send promotional emails where you have consented. To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Data Sharing
We share data with: Stripe (payment processing β subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy), Klaviyo (email communications β subject to Klaviyo's Privacy Policy), Neon (database hosting β EU-based servers), Vercel (platform hosting β servers in the EU/US with Standard Contractual Clauses in place).
All third-party providers are required to maintain appropriate security and confidentiality of your data. We do not transfer data outside the EEA without appropriate safeguards.
6. Your Rights Under GDPR
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data ('right to be forgotten'); restrict or object to processing; data portability; withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@rentracket.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (IP RS) or your local supervisory authority.
7. Data Retention
We retain account data for the duration of your subscription plus 3 years, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Booking and transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Slovenian accounting regulations. Marketing consent records are retained until you withdraw consent.
8. Cookies
RentRacket uses only essential cookies necessary for the platform to function (session management, authentication). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect platform functionality.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI DSS compliant).
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify active users of material changes via email at least 14 days before changes take effect. The current version is always available at rentracket.com/gdpr.
